I have a growing variety of patterns and colours
Being willing to fail is being willing to learn, and I have both failed and learned a lot.
I still want to do so many things. And I’m beginning to understand that my time is limited.
When I find that the achievement of a goal is out of my control, no matter what I do, the veil of that obstacle covers everything else.

Like most camping trips, winter camping can have peripheral activities. There’s ice fishing, and cross country skiing and snow shoeing. We opted for the latter. The memory of the fire from the previous night motivated me enough to get up to build another.
Eventually you pull yourself away, with an illusion of comfort from the fire’s heat, and head to bed.
Had I been on my own, I wouldn’t have lasted the night.
